“An Englishman, M. Brymon, has lately erected a manufactory for refined sugar, on the pacha’s account; it stands on the banks of the river, half a league from Mellaowy. The whole establishment is the result of a well digested plan, and it is conducted with all the zeal and information requisite for such an undertaking. The products are very satisfactory.”
