Following a successful 2003-4 season, in which attendance increased 30 percent over the previous year, the Cincinnati Art Museum announces its new season of special exhibitions for 2004-5, headlined by the international exhibition Petra: Lost City of Stone.
Along with Petra: Lost City of Stone, the Museum will feature a diverse range of exhibitions drawn from the Museum’s exemplary permanent collection as well as other collections from around the world. These exhibitions range from masterpieces of American painting by Georgia O’Keeffe, Winslow Homer and Norman Rockwell to oil sketches by Baroque master Peter Paul Rubens to a collection of Japanese work garments painted with animals and mythological figures. You can find the full schedule of special exhibitions at this page. Visitors can also experience these exhibitions through many opportunities for interactive and social programming throughout the year.
